Women Empowerment definition and things to be done in my words.

In todays world most of us are aware of this word. Most familiar and used by politicians, social workers, NGO’s, celebrities.

let me define in my words: Empowering women means making them self reliant, independent to take their decisions, work for their own cause and comfort. Not coming under any pressure to pursue work.

In todays world every one speak many things about charity, social service, education to every one, free food to under privileged. This is all in front of camera. we are not acting on causes and situations we are just speaking and leaving it. This should not be the case we have to act on it. Educate on terms like “Do not encourage violence let people speak out, work on their abilities to be productive and work on disabilities to over come your weakness. Learn to ignore when required. Do not prove yourself to others. You will get your own time to shine just be patient not in terms of accepting violence but to put you out of the box and expose yourself to the world.”

Real empowerment of women lies in accepting them truly. Every dad treats her daughter like princess. The change comes only when you start thinking your wife some one else’s princess. Every son looks a god in mother but, change comes when you can find your mother in every other girl.

Last but not the least I desperately loved Swamy Vivekananda after learning an incident from his life story. I don’t remember exact places but it went like this Swamy Vivekananda was on board via ship for a presentation in some foreign country. I remember it to be England. In the journey the ship halted for refueling purpose. The place was where we find sex workers. As there was an announcement that ship would start next day if any body wants to visit the town can go a head. He got down the ship and being unaware of the place and situation he went down. By looking at his beauty all of them were self struck and moved towards him unwantedly. There he addressed them with all devotion in his eyes as DEAR SISTERS. By just listening to the words one can understand that the words are from bottom of his heart. Here looking at their appearances he found that they were sex workers yet the respect he given to them has to be noticed. Even those girls were surprised listening to the way he addressed them.

I learnt many things from this situation.

Respecting people doesn’t come from their position or social status but, it’s in you how you present yourself and you wanted what to be given back to you.

We respect women from our family here if you can see Vivekananda has given the status of his family to them. Creating and living in the thought that every one is my family has to be learnt.

Accepting things the most important thing. In general we all look at things very differently we don’t think of what made them do so and come into such a situation. No one likes to live such a life. But, it is situations what make them to do so and let’s all learn to accept each other.

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT IS POSSIBLE ONLY THROUGH GENDER EQUALITY.
